During the past several months, we completed the necessary preparations for our bikes and got all the necessities for our trip, including tools and spare pars. This was a very long planning process. It is hard to foresee what may happen in the future on your trip; nevertheless, we had to make ourselves play many scenarios and come up with possible solutions for particular situations. We also had an opportunity to talk to two people who have done long-range multi-country trips. We learned from their experiences. Both people have done amazing trips and gave us good tips. At the end of this preparation process, we learned a few important lessons: 1) friends and families are important and 2) everything a person needs may fit in two side cases and a top bag.
